DELIVERY CHARGES


All delivery costs are established after the customer is happy with furniture design(s) and specification.

Furniture dimensions, component parts and fragility, and the property receiving the furniture, will vary from project to project, and as such we can only ascertain what the delivery will entail at the point where the design is agreed.

As an example however, an AV cabinet cm 165W x 52D x 55H can be delivered for a fee of £75 within the U.K mainland.

Please contact us for delivery fees outside UK mainland.

Whilst every effort will be made to ensure deliveries be on time and for the appropriate day, Usken cannot be held responsible for any failed deliveries. Should a situation arise beyond our control deliveries will be re-scheduled for a mutually convenient time.

Saturday Deliveries or Timed deliveries i.e. before 10.30am or before 12.00 noon carry a surcharge, details of which can be obtained upon request.

DAMAGES / RETURNS:

All goods must be checked thoroughly prior to signing for them at time of delivery as neither Usken nor a third party delivering on behalf of Usken can be held responsible for any claims for damages/shortages arising thereafter. Usken will not refund, exchange or repair for free, goods where the customer has changed their mind about wanting the goods or damaged or marked the goods which were of merchantable quality when first purchased or delivered.

Replacement for damages/defective goods will only be considered upon receipt of a written description of the problem and photographic evidence. An inspection of the product may take place via the most appropriate means deemed by Usken, at a mutually convenient time. If a return is agreed, products must be returned by the customer by means deemed acceptable by Usken, failing which a charge of 20% of the purchase price of the goods will be levied by Usken.
